In honor of Download Day, Mozilla is attempting the world record for a download during 24 hours. The launch of FireFox 3 will be during Download Day, and they're looking for as many people as they can get to 'pledge'

I've used Firefox 3 for the last couple months, it's VERY good, and is a definite improvement on Firefox 2. It takes a big dump on IE even more so than FF2, which is good also.

There was no record to start with so any number of d/ls will be a record. Typical lame attention grabbing by mozilla for its lame products which have more holes and problems than they will ever admit to.

Wow, two anti-Mozilla posts.

Why?

They make the best, most secure browser in the market - and it's free. What's not to like? I've been using v3 since the early betas, and it's great. The RC is leaps and bounds ahead of IE - it's won every independant comparison against IE8.
